No, they have a full service bar with drink specials
The only reason why I gave them an extra star was because the food was actually really good. For us to come in slightly late the service wasn’t bad until my friend was getting ready to pull out cash to tip and she decided to came back and ask where the tip was. Gratuity is earned. Don’t ever feel entitled to someone’s money.
This place is insanely over priced for the food you get. The stir fry Udon was just Lo Mein. The hibachi rice....let me say, I was choking on the amount of black pepper. Horrible.
The service was good, but the food is just OK. I've had the duck ramen, soup dumplings, and the deluxe sashimi here. Nothing was bad, but if you have had Asian food in a city like New York, then you know that the taste isn't the best it could be . There is a wide selection of food, which is great given the lack of authentic Asian dishes in Southside. The ambiance here feels more like a modern hotel bar than an Asian restaurant, but it's clean and quiet. Overall, it's the best selection of non-Thai Asian food in Southside.
Food was generally Tasty. But chicken basil I ordered at a 1 in spice level, and my food came with at least two whole jalapenos chopped up inside! Pics for for proof. Yikes. Pork buns also very bready and rice was an overcooked glob. I won't be coming back.
For a place that is supposed to specialize in noodles, this was possibly the worst ramen I've ever had. My bowl was filled to the brim with soup. The ingredients were basically mixed all together drowning in all the liquid. The egg was a hard boiled egg with a rock hard yolk. The heart of the dish was boring sliced pork belly that added nothing. I'm sure they use it in 5 other dishes so it's probably made to be universal. Would not recommend the ramen cant speak on anything else.
Food was delicious. Service was quick. Great meal for all in party!
Mad noodles is a amazing restaurant to dine in or take out with! Try out their seafood section; Juicy Seafood! Sure is juicy. There are many combos like the Snow Crab combo, Crayfish combo, Seafood Mixpot and many other combos! Really recommend this place!
Mad noodles has always been my favorite Asian restaurant in south side. I first heard it from my friends, gave it a try, surprised me a lot. The food was absolutely delicious! The price was reasonable, only one or two could’ve have been just a little cheaper. The decorations and paintings are my fav! Really recommend this place!! (Also, service and staff was great!)
Just found this place in passing. There is awesome menu selection no matter which type of Asian food you're in for. There's something for everyone in the group. Noodles, sushi, entrees, soup, apps, a mixture of everything. The food was piping hot and tasted fantastic. They let you select your "heat" level between 1-5. The hoodle dish I got was fantastic, the flavor and the meats were spectacular. For how much food each person gets, the price is not bad at all. Our entrees could have fed two each.
Very under rated !! Check this place out.. The service was on point . the noodle dishes are huge & sushe was fresh. Interior feels like your Las Vegas . great for dates
Favorite Asian food in Pittsburgh! The atmosphere is great and so is the staff! Food is always high quality and delicious!
Ordered bubble tea on door dash and it came with lychee jelly instead of tapioca bubbles, they said they didn’t have tapioca bubbles ready when I called to ask about it. They apologized and just kinda left it at there.
This is the most delicious food I’ve ever had.
Great food! Seasoned just right! Soup was great, pad Thai really good and Thai noodles also very good. Food was hot and nice portions. Waiter could have been on the ball a little more. Wasn't very attentive and on cell phone to much and screwed up appetizer.
I’ve been meaning to get over here for a while and I regret not trying this place sooner! First, they have soup dumplings, which you can find everywhere. There a couple places in Pittsburgh, but they’re still rare. They were super good with nice warm broth and a savory meat ball inside. Just an amazing bite. It’s a high recommend for me. I also got the pad Thai which was massive. I got Spice level 3 and that was enough to make my nose run a little, which was perfect. The atmosphere was good with almost a cafe vibe music going on and everything relatively calm. My friends really liked their meals as well so try and make this a stop. The parking outside was free after 6 and I got a space 4 steps from the door. You won’t be disappointed!
This place is terrible. Just terrible. I was here a Sunday at around 2 to 3, and the restaurant was not busy. The staff was very rude and seemed like they wanted to get us in and out. I ordered the miso soup as an appetizer, and the soup came out cold!! The overall food experience was not very good, and didn't seem like they had properly cleaned the seafood. Wont bring my business here.
The best Asian restaurant in Pittsburgh hands down . I would definitely recommend them to everyone
Such good noodles! I'm no slouch, but these noodles rocked socks.
DO NOT GO HERE!!! DO NOT ORDER HERE!!! I ordered the shrimp combo on Uber Eats from Mad Noodles, and I have never been so disgusted to the point where I lost my appetite. The food was dirty! The shrimp was not clean at all, it was not deveined, there was hair and dirt all over the packaging and the liquid in the packaging had a black dilute color with a strong oder not like other sea food I have ever experienced. On top of all this, I called the restaurant and they were very dismissive and continued deflecting. The staff was very rude and not cooperative. This was an order of over 50 dollars!!! It is not worth your time or your money to spend it at this establishment, especially when there are many other restaurants available. Never eating here again!!!!!!
Good Ramen broth need a little more flavors but good will try again.
You guys put the F in FLAVOR!! I love your poke bowls and smoothies!!Best delicious fresh food I’ve ever tasted!!
I ordered the Singapore dish it was delicious. I also ordered a seafood broil it was ok. They overcharged me. They put 18% gratuity on my check it was only me and my husband eating.
I have celiac and ordered the pho soup which is labeled GF and proved to be so. The portion size is incredible and the taste was fantastic, I particularly loved the shaved beef. Two others in our group had duck soup and also said it was fantastic.
One of the best noodle houses in Pittsburgh. Try the pig wing as an appetizer!
Pricey, but excellent food.
Rude waitress. I went out with a friend on a Saturday night and we decided to split a few dishes together. When I was ordering, the waitress looked at me and asked "are you sure you want to order all that?" The food was good, but I would probably order from GrubHub after that encounter.
Good experience there, very clean place, delicious food and nice personal. There are a big dishes, I ate half of my. Cashew chicken has not a lot of cashews, but anyway was delicious. The madnoodle have a very good location for us.
